Eversheds launches new client project management system

06 February 2009

Eversheds has unveiled a new project management system which develops the successful model used by the firm in its role as exclusive legal provider for Tyco.

Gams II follows the Global Account Management System (Gams) created for Tyco, but has been developed so it is more readily adaptable to multiple firms. Three new clients have already signed up to Gams II, and 14 companies are rumoured to have expressed serious interest.

The new system offers Eversheds’ clients a high level of control over the volume of work their legal provider undertakes, enabling in-house counsel to carefully manage their company’s expenditure on legal fees.

The enhanced billing system gives clients a financial overview of their legal spending which will be particularly attractive in the current economic climate. As well as capping billing, Gams II also offers its clients regular analysis with the purpose of cutting costs and enhancing the firm’s legal services.

Gams II is due to be launched at the end of the month and will be adopted by Eversheds’ pre-existing clients, including Tyco.
