Grob Aerospace finds investor

The insolvent aircraft manufacturer Grob Aerospace has found an investor. From 1 February 2009, Fortius Mittelstandskapital AG, Munich, takes over the business and the necessary production plant out of the company's assets.

A joint team from Görg and Nörr led by the partners Dr Martin Stockhausen (Görg) and Dr Christian Pleister (Nörr) advised the insolvency administrator Dr Michael Jaffé on the restructuring and sale of the business.

After prolonged negotiation with several national and international investors and creditors, approximately 90 jobs at the composite construction specialist have been saved by the entry of the investor.

Company lawyer Dr Christian Pleister from German law firm Nörr Stiefenhofer Lutz advised insolvency administrator Dr Michael Jaffé assisted by real estate lawyer associate Dr Florian Ehrich and company lawyer Isabel Schneider with Dr Martin Stockhausen and Dr Christoph Janssen from GÖRG Partnerschaft von Rechtsanwälten.  

M&A litigation lawyer Elmar Geissinger from Ziems & Partner also acted.
